The Missing Link to Innovation and Inclusion

How do you spell global empathy? – MOOC!

What’s a MOOC?  Massively open online course.

What’s massive?  15,000 students.

What’s open?  citizens from 150 countries posing and debating questions about important topics like what we can do to have a flourishing economy.

Professor Michael Goldberg’s MOOC, Beyond Silicon Valley:  Growing Entrepreneurship in Transitioning Economies is a great example.  It’s my pleasure to be involved, including this global webcast yesterday on the role of intermediary organizations in transitioning economies.

If you haven’t chatted lately with people from Pakistan, Greece, Kenya, Venezuela, Vietnam, Israel, Cleveland, and, and, and….. about how to support entrepreneurship so we can have a more abundant world….you outta try it.  It will give you hope that maybe we could get there.  Bit by bit, we start to understand each other and the world we live in.

I don’t need any more proof of the wisdom of crowds or the power of global empathy.
